Operating system: Windows 10 version 1903 or later (64-bit)
Processor: 64-bit (x64) processor
Memory: 4 GB RAM or more recommended
Storage: ~255 MB available disk space for installation
Display: 1280×720 screen resolution or higher
Other: .NET runtime not required—included in the installer

Install steps

Quick setup

Click Download for Windows above and save the file.
Open SMART-Setup-1.2.0.exe from your Downloads folder.
On the welcome screen, click Install Demo if you want sample school data to explore SMART before entering your own (optional).
Follow the setup wizard and choose your install location if prompted.
Launch SMART from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
Homeschooling parents: request a free yearly license (not a subscription). Within a month of expiration, the app will remind you and show how to renew.
